last minute

Ok am really shattered and sick of computers, as the queen of last minute, I did a long essay for this course I am doing today, due tomorrow. It was a tough and boring subject and now I have to go to bed and get up early in the morning.

Might as well watch sum Jay and Kay to cheer me up!

Hello!

Right, what a week! Been busy with moving my luggage around town and preparing for a wedding, yes my wedding! Yay! Jay and Kay wedding cake! That would be great! So aside from that, have been working more on the production side of writing to people, sending off script ideas to various film and TV outlets and hoping...! We have some interesting things in the pipeline and will hopefully see a lot of collaboration this year creatively. Caution Wet Paint, still in our hearts and minds, we are still pushing it!

Ok now off to bed zzzzzzzz

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello Bloggers,

Happy Valentine's Day! Lots of kisses and hugs to all of our readers! It has been a busy week. I have been researching and preparing proposals for funding...had a bit of a mental block so thought I would blog (altho a bit late in the day!) As you can do, I am doing plenty of romantic things!

Anyway, as we are supposed to be in the mood for love, I thought I would celebrate one of my favourite webisodes of CWP that embraces the love between Jay and Kay and the art of giving...

Hello,

La Producer here, it has been a busy week, with April coming up, we need to sort out the finances, not so great when Christmas was only well a month ago! All the frenzied shopping has left the bank account in the ahem, red...

Oh well, looking forward to a more productive year ahead for 2010!

The Runs

Hello bloggers!

I am sure you missed my presence last Sunday, but I ahem, well I went to dinner with my family to one of my favourite restaurants and ended up in the toilet, an absoloute horrific way to end a lovely night!

I was not the only one but my mum and fiance also developed a bad reaction to the food! The Cook, sadly has lost his/her skills :(((

Ok now on to filming, I was taking a look at everything, and the work we have done over the year and it is solid and better quality than when we started. Going in to this profession tests your perseverance which is important, as Caution, Wet Paint the Movie is fabulous and we need our audience to increase.

Here is a snippet of what you are missing (if you have not already seen what I am talking about...)

Ok back to work...

Cookies

The weather is horrid today so a perfect day to blog...

I was just thinking and musing about the film process and all its intricacies. Part of my job is to look at funding and getting the film seen by the 'right people'. I have checked regional funding but all are for next year, so I am going to be looking at different ways to source funding and also gain more attention for CWP The Movie.

Anyone for Jay and Kay cookies?!

Toast

Morning bloggers! I am sorry for my abscence last week, I had gotten lost in China Town and was found Monday Morning with a rice grain in my mouth...ahem, anyway I have had an early start today as I have a lot of work to do. FIrst up, I cannot tell you enough how amazing Caution, Wet Paint The Movie is. It was a joy to film it, even though I was very ill during the filming process. It felt good to be on set (my favouirte aspect of making any film) and fantastic to be able to work with our cast and crew. I also love it when you watch the finished product, and you know all the quirks and effort it took to get a certain scene in the film. My favourite part of the film, is at the end, when Jay and Kay are dancing...

The inbetween

Hello!!

La Producer here! Well it has been a very busy week! I have had a busy week juggling work, training and everything else inbetween! The most reflective time when making a film, is the time after it has been made. Much work goes on in the form of editing, copying, proof screening, premiere screening and despatching to film festivals and or distributors. The process behind the production of single film is so intricate and amazing. That is the beauty of entertainment and art - it can last for perhaps 5 minutes but the work, thought and everything inbetween is a grand affair!!!

Caution Wet Paint is Amazing!

Hello!

La Producer here, I was just going through our catalogue of work, and I have to agree with El D, that I love Caution Wet Paint - Jay and Kay Save the WOrld, it had me in stitches. Watching the trailer was brilliant! It instantly brightened my evening after scurrying around in the cold, looking for meat! hahaha!

The talent of all the cast and crew really shine, and I have to say that I really enjoyed filming it and the HD effects look stunning! If you did not see our new trailer, here it is again for you to enjoy!

The Business

Hello, La Producer here!

Ok a busy day in the film world...after a full day of eating haha and doing some local sight seeing, and I am just now in front of the computer doing some work! Ok, down to the task of sifting through emails and finding out the best film festival to send Caution, Wet Paint to. You always have to get the right balance, and find the right festival in which to promote your movie. Ofcourse you go for the big names such as The London Film Festival, Cannes and Sundance, but you also have to look beyond and search for other film festivals too, to promote your work.

I have found a few, will let you know how I get along!

Wish me luck!

Sundays are the perfect day, late start, lie-in, in bed, so why is it, that when I woke up at 8am, I have not done anything productive?! Aaaaaaaaa! And I have just spilt tea all over the desk, I need to get my tea towel out...

So let me entertain you with the evolution of a clip...
