'Contact'

The problem with film making is that once the production phase is over, it becomes a very solitary pursuit. People seem to go by the wayside as the all consuming goal of completing a movie becomes the soul reason for living. Eating, Sleeping, earning cash becomes automatic, a reflex to necessity while all consciousness fades into the distance. Of course, when the film is completed, you look up. Like waking up from nuclear armageddon, everything, the world seems familiar, yet strangely different. Everyone else has lived their life, while I have been stuck on the same ten minutes for the past few months.

Relationships suffer. Drastically. And so it is time for re-engaging with the world. Not just cast and crew, but people. So expect a flurry of contact in the next week. I am feeling...'sociable'.
